About the Role

Uniboard Canada is looking for a reliable and self-motivated person to join their team as a Labourer – Wood Processing. This hands-on position involves working in a wood treatment plant, handling lumber products, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. If you’ve got strong attention to detail and enjoy physical work, you’ll do well in this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sorting, piling, and transporting wood and lumber products
  • Cleaning machines and maintaining cleanliness of the immediate work area

You’ll be expected to work shifts between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM and must be open to overtime when needed. The position is physically demanding, so comfort with repetitive movements, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 20 pounds is a must.

What You’ll Need to Qualify

Education & Language

  • Secondary school diploma required
  • Must be fluent in French

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
  • Must be able to handle loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

  • Attention to detail and safety awareness

Work Environment

  • Hot conditions in a wood treatment plant
  • Standing for long hours, physical movements like bending and lifting
