What You’ll Be Doing

As a shift manager, your daily tasks go beyond just overseeing staff. You’ll be responsible for:

• Creating effective work schedules to ensure smooth operations
• Supervising and coordinating team members who prepare, portion, and serve food
• Training new employees on their roles, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards
• Hiring and onboarding new food service team members
• Ensuring food quality and customer service consistently meet company standards
• Handling customer concerns with professionalism and care
• Monitoring inventory, sales, repairs, and waste
• Submitting routine operational reports

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who brings a mix of experience, communication skills, and a great attitude. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Fluent in English
• Completed secondary school (high school diploma)
• 7 months to less than 1 year of previous experience in a related food service role
• Proven ability to supervise a team of 5 to 10 team members
• Experience supervising food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Client-focused and adaptable to changing tasks or environments
• Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
