Job Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

Daily Duties Include:

  • Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and equipment
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring everything is properly tarped and secured
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain truck safety and performance
  • Handle brake adjustments, basic roadside repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Monitor and record hours of service, distance travelled, fuel usage, and cargo details
  • Relay important information to central dispatch and follow delivery schedules effectively
  • Operate flatbeds and tractor-trailers, with occasional use of heavy equipment

Shift Schedule

  • Varied shifts including weekends, early mornings, and flexible hours

What You’ll Need to Qualify

This role is demanding, but if you meet the qualifications below, you’ll thrive in this position:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • 2–3 years of professional driving experience (preferably in construction or heavy-haul)
  • Valid AZ driver’s license and Air Brake (Z) endorsement
  • Class 3/3F/DF license (for vehicles with more than three axles)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physical tasks regularly
