What You’ll Be Doing

As a long-haul truck driver at Heartland Transport, you’ll be responsible for more than just getting from point A to point B. Your role includes:

• Loading and unloading cargo with care and accuracy.
• Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to safely transport goods and materials.
• Inspecting your vehicle before, during, and after each trip — including brakes, tires, lights, and cold storage units.
• Completing emergency roadside repairs if needed.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
• Keeping detailed records of cargo, fuel use, hours of service, and distance travelled.

This role will take you across various locations, so being comfortable with extended periods on the road and adapting to different work environments is key.

Who We’re Looking For
