What You’ll Be Doing as a Carpenter

This hands-on role involves a wide range of carpentry tasks. You’ll be working on everything from new builds to renovations across various types of properties, including homes, industrial sites, hospitals, and more.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
• Using measuring tools and preparing layouts that follow current building codes
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, wood substitutes, and light steel materials
• Constructing foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems
• Installing doors, windows, stairs, mouldings, and various hardware
• Maintaining, repairing, and renovating wooden structures and frameworks in different settings

What We’re Looking For
