Work Environment & Conditions

You’ll be joining a hardworking team in a dynamic outdoor setting. Here’s what to expect:

  • Work across multiple locations if needed
  • Live-in accommodation may be available
  • Exposure to varied weather — hot, cold, dusty, or wet
  • Physically demanding tasks like lifting, bending, crouching, and standing for long hours
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks

Crops You’ll Work With

Shadow Produce grows a mix of delicious crops including:

  • Blueberries
  • Sweet corn
  • Various field vegetables

Farming experience with similar crops is a bonus, especially if you’re comfortable using equipment like:

  • Fruit and vegetable harvesters
  • Loaders and planting equipment
